my cards been busy!

So i must confess i have been a horrible blogger lately, but i do have a reason! My wisdom teeth decided to grow a little, causing massive pain and a diet of puddings and yoghurt. Typical my holidays was to be spent relaxing, pampering and shopping!!

So lately ive been on spending spree lately, and thought i should show you my purchases!

Pink wayfarer look alikes, from ebay- seller mixababy, they are super cute and cant wait for them to come ( not my pic, from ebay)
and
Queen Helene Mint julep Masque, ive heard soo many great reviews on it, apparently great for spots and blackheads! great for my skin which is worse than normal, Spots be gone!

Then i found hello kitty on the MAC UK website, which is not launched yet on the website is under the site map!! So i bought the lipconditioner in popster, Lipglass in Mimmy and a petite makeup bag!

This calls for a YAY Me!!! so i now dont have to get up early for the launch and miss out on any items.

Swatches coming soon- ie when it arrives

Hime Kei and kisses

Thus today is Valentine's day, which is a day for Love, although personally i think its con! But i will wish my readers a loving day and use it to say thank my readers for continuley coming back to read my blog, and to those who click or plan to click on my ads, as each little cent goes towards my bag fund which is looking rather miserable at the moment, i feel like its quietly mocking me haha...

So while looking at the latest Japanese fashion, i stumbled across Hime Kei, you may ask what the heck that means, it means princess style. Its huge over in japan right now, and i was blown away by it, adorned in pearls, frills, princess coats, long cascading curls, the big bows and white tights are not to be missed.

These girls have real dedication to this style, i was blown away at the amount of detail and cost of these looks. I mean look at this phone!

Their princess coats!

oh and strangely an obsession with Marie from aristocats! I do really reccomend looking at japanese fashion as its ever so wonderful for pulling out little bits from their trends and making it more wearable. Try Yesstyle for fabulous clothes, although i wish they did clothes for people of my height, 5"8 as their clothes will be alot shorter for me!

Vanties girls..

As you all know im obsessed with twilight, well i know allison does! Ever since reading the books, and even watching the movie, i just adore everything about it, bella, edward cullen, jacob.

I discovered this picture of Kristen Stewart, i just couldn't not post it, is it just so beautiful, i know its cropped but the picture looked funny when it wasnt! I then found out if was from an old vanity fair shoot, and couldnt resist having a look at the rest of the shoot!

" The vanties girls" shoots are inspired by 50's pin up

Hayden Patteriere, as you all know from either Bring it on 3 or Heroes! How fabulous does she look

Freida Pinto, an up and coming actress from slumdog millionaire!

Isla Fisher, i saw this picture ages ago and thought how gorgeous it was! Can't wait to see "confessions of a shopaholic", loved the books.

evolving, transformation

So over the past two years or so, my style has evolved and changed for the better i hope! Instead of relying on everyone else opinions, i now buy what i want and then ask for opinion's such as " is it flattering, does it suit me?" not " do you like it, would you buy it, shall i buy it, which one do you prefer?"

It first started with a simple thing, nail varnish, before i would turn my nose up at any varnish which wasn't pink. I stuck to french mani's, magenta's, baby pinks and nudes. I then discovered my love for OPI's russian navy, and my style revolution began. I now have a number of colours such as deep black berry, a variation of dark blues, a smokey sparkly gray, a metallic gold, bright orange etc!

I loved juicy couture and primp, lived in jeans and tees and hoodies, paid attention to the latest trends but they didnt interested, wore what i liked. Paris hilton was my icon, haha i know, i mean look at her now, she looks like an idiot!

I knew all about the latest fashion, couldnt wait for each fashion show, bought my first Louis vuitton, a multicolour Alma, fell in love with chanel s/s summer 2007.

It really stayed the same until i discovered teen vogue, found their forums and from there, i found myself in the blog world. The forums showed me how i could dress, ditching the hoodies, left them to lazy days, fell in love with American brands such as ae, nordstrom, uo and Victoria secret.
I also found inspiration in Audrey Hepburn, looked at celebrities style such as Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Olsen and Lauren Conrad.

So really thats how i became fashion obsessed, although make up is becoming an addiction, more so than fashion which is rather shocking

peace and love

Graphic's

Im so in love with graphic tees right now, although not so fashionable. They go with everything, spring summer, winter or fall, shorts or jeans, skirts or even sweatpants. Even a fashionista can look good while lounging. Seriously though, no graphic tee is worth alot of money and with this economy, cheap tees are a good investment.

From Old navy $14 each!! im obsessed with their tees at the moment.

$20 from UO

from Old Navy $14.

I take all my fashion inspiration, from a number of things, OC- the fashion is casual and more wearable than Gossip girl, Vanessa Hudgens, Georgia Rule and i love Rachel bilson and autumn reeser's style in the OC and in real life.

P.S my laptop arrived woo!! its so much easier to update my blog now i have access to a computer all the time. YAY me
